Time apart

Lost without you

No sense of self

Sleep is near

Thoughts consuming

Your face held dear

Slipping into the darkness

One more sleep and your here

  2. It is hard to be separated for lengthy amounts of time. Good use of onomatopoeia setting the tone for your poem. The format works well for the imagery, building the feeling that the emotion feels like it will never end, though the speaker knows otherwise.
